Eagles And Warriors Humbled On Home Ice

A disastrous start to the season for the Dryden Eagles High School Boys Hockey team.
The Eagles were shelled 13-2 by Fort Frances in their opener Tuesday night at the Memorial Arena.
Coach Darryl Mousseau says it was a horrible effort and notes they didn’t play at all in their own zone.
Mousseau notes his players were running around and not sticking to the system.
The Eagles allowed 79-shots on net.
Mousseau says it’s important to put this loss behind them and move forward.
Kirk Markowski and Cam Zappetelli scored for Dryden.
In other action, the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints cruised to a 14-4 win over the Warriors in Sioux Lookout.
