Eagles Beat Broncos In Overtime

The Dryden Eagles High School Boys Hockey team continues to have Beaver Brae’s number.
The Eagles remain undefeated against their Kenora rival with a 5-4 overtime win Tuesday night at the Memorial Arena.
Ryan Hron was the hero in extra time.
Cam Zappitelli, Austin Madussi, Calum Cheesequay-Tom and Matt Kellar scored in regulation.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Eagles as they face the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints in Kenora this afternoon at 4:30.

In other action last night, the Red Lake Rams fell 11-5 to the Muskies in Fort Frances and the Queen Elizabeth Warriors dropped a 7-6 decision in Kenora against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
