A strong defensive effort for the Dryden Eagles Girls Hockey team on the road.
The Eagles shut down the Red Lakes 6-0 Tuesday night.
Coach Tim Getson says the team was firing on all cylinders from the opening face-off.
Getson adds he was impressed with two of his rookies; Leah Balla and Jess Carter.
Carter had a goal and an assist, while Balla recorded a couple of helpers.
Martina Wintle led the way with a pair of goals, while Shelby Tourond, Jenna Langlais and Elizabeth Carter added singles.
CJ Jolicoeur stopped 13-shots for the shutout.
