It was a true struggle for the one final spot in the All-Ontario Boys High School Hockey championship.
When the dust settled the Dryden Eagles outlasted the visiting Queen Elizabeth Warriors 7-6 Sunday in a one game OFSAA qualification showdown.
Jacob Lugli and Keith Wrolstad led the way with a pair of goals each, while Zack Lugli, Adam West and Randy Russell added singles.
Tyler Baker led the Warriors attack with three goals, while Cortez Favot added a pair.
Kendall Schultz also found the back of the net.
Dryden will now join the host Fort Frances Muskies and the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints at the provincial championship in one weeks time.
