A quick and successful turnaround for the Dryden Eagle Boys High School hockey team.
After dropping their first 2-regular season games, the Eagles responded by winning the Morden, Manitoba Tournament on the weekend.
The Eagles finished with a perfect record which was capped by a thrilling 5-4 shootout victory over Fort Frances in the final game.
Carney McConnachie and Ryan Hron scored late in the third to tie the contest.
Kale Kuzemchuk completed the hat-trick with the shootout winner.
Justin Oltsher closed the door stopping all 4-Fort Frances players he faced in the shootout.
Dryden is back on the ice Tuesday night at home against the Red Lake Rams.
