The Dryden Eagles Boys High School Hockey team was overwhelmed on the Chris Pronger rink Thursday night.
The Eagles looked flat in a 6-1 loss to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
That was the first loss for Dryden this season and Cale Oberg scored the Eagles lone goal.
Meantime, the Queen Elizabeth Warriors earned a sweep against the visiting Beaver Brae Broncos.
The Boys clipped the Broncos 4-2, while the Girls trounced Beaver Brae 8-0.
In Kenora, the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints put up a fight, but dropped a 4-1 decision to the undefeated Fort Frances Muskies.
