There’s a reason why the St. Michaels Warriors were ranked first heading into the Girls OFSAA Hockey championship.
The Warriors shut down the Eagles explosive offence with a 3-0 win in Wednesday’s Semi-Final game.
The game was scoreless until the Warriors potted one with just over two minutes left in the second period.
They would add another one early in the third and iced the game with an empty netter.
Jacquie Grandmont’s mind-boggeling streak of 198-minutes without letting a goal came to an end.
She still stopped 37-shots.
Dryden will regroup and prepare for the Bronze medal game against Timmins Thursday morning at 9:00.
The Eagles downed Timmins 10-1 in round-robin play.
