The Dryden Eagle Girls are one win away from a trip to the All-Ontario Hockey Finals.
The ‘Blue and Gold’ prevailed in a gritty 3-2 win over the Beaver Brae Broncos Thursday night.
Co-Coach Jeff Parkes says the Girls showed a tonne of heart as the club is battling a tough opponent and the flu bug.
Alex Wesley, Lauren Shoguchi and Claire Paquette found the back of the net for Dryden.
The Eagles can advance with a win in Keewatin Sunday afternoon.
