Eagles Coach Proud Of His Young Team

The Dryden Eagles are preparing for the end of another Winnipeg High School Football season.
The Eagles won’t be making the playoffs and will play their final game of the year in Winnipeg on Thursday.
Dryden is coming off a spirited effort against the top ranked West Kildonan Wolverines on Friday.
Head Coach Geoff Zilkalns says he’s proud of his young squad.
He stresses they have come a long way since the start of the year.
Zilkalns stresses that the young squad is a great group and has stuck together through thick and thin.
The Friday game also marked the final contest for the Senior players who are playing in their final year.
Zilkalns says the seniors asked the younger players to give it their best in the final game and they did just that.
