Eagles Dominate At Home Once Again

The ‘Blue and Gold’ machine continues to roll along.

The Dryden Eagles High School Football team improved to 6-0, with a 51-7 victory over the Tec Voc Hornets Thursday afternoon.

Liam Wrolstad is quickly gaining the reputation as the “touchdown machine”, as he added three more in the contest.

He started things with a 33-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter and followed that up with touchdown runs of around 75-yards and 58-yards.

The senior running back has scored nine touchdowns in his last two games.

However, Dryden once again showed off their multiple weapons.

Gunnar Anderson was put in for short yardage work and hauled in a 4-yard pass from Jarett Hicks, while the Eagles quarterback added a four yard touchdown run.

Mason Desautels also rumbled 11-yards to pay dirt and Thomas Moline had one of two picks for a 70-yard major.

Cale Oberg kicked a field goal, and Dryden converted on a two point try.

The Eagles defence was on their game again, with three forced fumbles and three interceptions.

Dryden also forced Tec Voc to turn it over on downs on multiple occasions.

With the victory, the Eagles finished with a 3-0 record at Harry McMaster Field.

There home scoreless streak ended at 138-minutes, as Jayden Bannerman scored on a one yard touchdown plunge with six minutes to go in the game.

Dryden looks to end the regular season with a perfect record next Friday in Fort Frances.
