Eagles Drop 3-1 Decision To Saints

The Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team has dropped its first game of the season.

The Eagles lost on home ice Tuesday night 3-1 to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.

Co-Coach Randy Allen says they have a young team and they are still learning systems.

Allen says the loss is a good learning experience and notes they will get better.

Zoe Lynch scored Dryden’s lone goal.

The Eagles will face the Beaver Brae Broncos Thursday night.

Meantime, the Fort Frances Muskies crushed Beaver Brae 9-1.

In Boys play, Fort Frances downed the Broncos 9-1.
