Eagles Earn a Split in Kenora

The Dryden Eagle hockey team is starting to find life a lot better on

the road.

The Boys earned their third straight shutout away from home Wednsday night blanking Kenora 4-0.

Jonathan Furkalo led the way making 31 stops, while Dustin

Harrington, Shawn Capovilla, Austin Heile and Jordan Sampson found the

back of the net.

On the Girls side, a third period comeback by the Eagles wasn’t enough, as Dryden fell to the Kenora Broncos 5-4 in overtime.

Dryden trailed the Broncos 4-1 in the third period, but stormed back thanks to a goal with 20 seconds left in the game.

The Eagles picked up a single point despite the loss.
