Eagles Fall Short In Another Well Played Game

The Dryden Eagles and Sisler Spartans High School Football game came down to 3 big plays.

The Spartans caught the Eagles defence off-guard very early in the game with a trio of touchdowns that went over 60-yards to finish with a 23-0 win at Harry McMaster Field Thursday.

After the big plays, the Dryden defence rebounded and went back-and-forth with Sisler in a very physical battle.

The Eagles also recorded a sack, interception and a fumble recovery and more importantly held the number one rusher in the league completly in check.

The Spartans defence was equally as good allowing Carter Armstrong to move the ball on several occasions but slamming the door shut when it counted.

Tanner Montgomery and Gus Brosseau both say they are proud of their effort and energized following a solid effort.

The Eagles coaching staff says there are a lot of positives to build on heading into Week #5.
