Strong serving was the key in the Dryden Eagles opening game at the OFSAA Volleyball Championship in Perth.
The Girls defeated Don Bosco High School from Etibicoke 25-7, 25-11 Tuesday morning at St. John’s Catholic School.
Natalie Saar and Melissa Felske keyed the attack early, rolling off consecutive winning serves.
Meryl Smith was also strong with several early kills.
Dryden is back on the court at 12:30 cst against the host team.
That game will be played at Perth District Collegiate.
