A new Girls High School Hockey season begins Thursday night for the Dryden Eagles.
The Blue and Gold travel to Kenora to battle the Beaver Brae Broncos.
Beaver Brae already has a game under its belt, a 3-2 set-back to the Queen Elizabeth Warriors.
The Eagles will be shorthanded with a handful of players preparing for the Girls Basketball Championship Friday and Saturday.
