Eagles Girls Three-peat Champions

The Dryden Eagles certainly find new ways to do things. For the third straight year the Eagles will represent our region at Ofsaa after a 2-0 win over the Kenora Broncos Tuesday night. The Eagles dropped the opener of the best of three 4-0 at home then rebounded with a 3-1 win in Kenora in game 2. In Game three Megan Pinette scored what would turn out to be the winner in the first period and Randi-Lynn Sullivan scored the insurance marker in the third. Melissa Calder faced 22 shots for the shut out between the pipes. The Eagles will now travel to Belleville in two weeks to take part in the Ofsaa Championships.
