A strong defensive effort for the Dryden Eagle Girls High School Hockey Tuesday night.
Michelle Carter made 22-saves as the Eagles defeated the Red Lake Rams 3-0 in Ear Falls.
Alex Wesley opened the scoring in the first with a power-play goal.
Ashley Kropelin found the back of the net in the second, while Kristen Bartlett iced the contest in the third.
Hannah Bennett made 28-saves for the Rams.
In other action, the Thomas Aquinas Saints upset the Fort Frances Muskies 4-3 in Keewatin.
