The start of the Winnipeg High School Football season is less than a week
away and the Dryden Eagles are expected to field a young squad.
The defending champions have lost a number of key veterans but Coach
Neil McLeod says several young players impressed the staff in a series of
scrimmages against Winnipeg teams last Thursday.
The season opener for the Eagles is September 7th against Kenora at
Harry McMaster Field in Dryden.
