The last game for the Dryden Eagles on home court was one of the best at the All-Ontario Boys Volleyball Championships.
The Eagles and John McGregor Panthers (Chatham) went the distance in a classic Quarter-Final battle.
The Panthers captured the first set 25-20, with the Eagles striking back in the second 25-22.
The third and final set was a back and forth affair with the Panthers coming out on top 15-13.
The game was played in front of a raucus and sold-out crowd at the DHS Main Gym.
The Beaver Brae Broncos OFSAA run also ended in the quarter-final in another classic battle.
Ingersoll knocked off Kenora in 3 sets (25-18, 15-25, 15-9).
