The Dryden Eagles boys hockey team is in the Genesis division Consolation Final at the Genesis Hospitality tournament in Brandon Manitoba after a loss and a win on Saturday. Dryden conitunes to play stellar defense losing 2-1 to Vincent Massey Winnipeg and then scored their third shut-out victory of the tourney winning 5-0 over Souris Valley. Dryden will now face Stonewall in the Consolation finals at 11:15 Sunday morning. The Fort Frances Muskies will play for bronze after losing in a shoot-out in the Semi-Finals.
The Red Lake Rams lost twice on Saturday in the Victoria Inn Division and are out of the tournament. The Rams dropped a 1-0 decision to Garden Valley and a 5-1 loss to Pembina. The Kenora Broncos are int eh Victoria Inn Consolation final.
