A thriller at the Dryden Memorial Arena in Boys High School hockey last night.
The Eagles outlasted the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints 4-3 in a seven round shootout.
Joel Allen, Ryan Hron and Adam Getson scored in regulation, while Hron and Kirk Markowski scored in the shootout.
Dryden is 2-0 since the resumption of High School hockey.
The win snaps the Saints 15-game winning streak.
In other boys action, the Fort Frances Muskies topped the Sioux Lookout Warriors 6-2.
On the girls side, the Red Lake Rams fell to the Beaver Brae Broncos 6-2.
Earlier this week, Dryden cruised to a 13-1 win over Sioux Lookout.
