Eagles Look To Extend Winning Streak To Four On The Gridiron

Another tough test for the defence of the Dryden Eagles High School Football team.

One week after shutting down the top two rushers in the league, the Eagles go up against the top passer in the game.

The Eagles are in Winnipeg to face the Daniel McIntyre Maroons at 3:30 Friday afternoon.

Defensive Coordinator Neil McLeod says his team realizes it will be a tough challenge but notes they are ready to go.

McLeod says his team hopes to ride the momentum of a road win in Portage last week.

The Eagles have caught fire with three consecutive wins thanks to strong performances from their defence and offence.

However, McLeod says their special teams hasn’t got the attention it deserves.

He stresses Special Teams Coach Brian Realini has done an amazing job with that group.

Game time is 3:30.
