The wait is almost over for the Dryden Eagles Boys High School Hockey team at OFSAA.
The Eagles arrived in Fort Frances around 2:00 Monday afternoon and took part in the opening banquet at night.
The Eagles open competition with two games on Tuesday.
Dryden starts with the third ranked St. Mary’s Crusaders from Hamilton at 11:00 in Emo.
The Crusaders are 21-2-2 this season.
The second test is fifth ranked Campbellford at 7:00 in Couchiching.
The Flames are 13-2-1 so far this campaign.
Dryden is the 16th seed and finished the season with an overall record of 17-13-0-5.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints from Kenora will start the tournament at 9:00 against St. Anne’s from Clinton.
The host Muskies open at 11:15 against the O’Gorman Knights from Timmins.
