Eagles Lose Another Nailbiter

The Dryden Eagles ran and ran often as windy conditions played havoc with their passing game in Winnipeg High School Football League action yesterday in Winnipeg. In the end the Eagles fell 16-14 to the Sisler Spartans after a 2 point conversion late in the game was stopped at the 1 yard line. Jordan Hoover and Darren Anderson each had over 100 yards rushing and a TD in the loss which drops the Eagles to 1-4. The Eagles will stay at home next week as the host the Sturgeon Creek Schooners on Friday at Dryden High School.
