Eagles Lose in a Shootout

The Fort Frances Muskies needed a shootout to trip up the defending
champion Dryden Eagles 3-2 in Girls High School hockey Tuesday in Fort Frances.
The Muskies scored 3-times in the shootout, with Jen Steiner the only
Eagle to find the back of the net
Coach John McAfferty says despite the loss, he was pleased with their effort.
Sarah Carter and Erin Capovilla scored in regulation, with Kelsey
Fuerst making 24 saves.
Despite the loss, Dryden will pick up a single point.
