The Dryden Eagles lost their final round-robin game at the All-Ontario Girls Volleyball Championship.
The ‘Blue and Gold’ and L’Amoreaux went back and forth and in the end the Saints out of Toronto pulled out a 23-25, 25-16 and 15-9 win Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles finished pool play with a 1-3 record, but lived to play on with a fourth place finish.
Dryden is into the Consolation Quarter-Final at 3:30 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
There opponent is yet to be determined as final pool play is underway.
The L’Amoreaux Saints were led by #5 Kirah Williams-Shephard and her visious power game.
