Eagles Pick Up Silver On Ice In Kenora

The battle on the ice between Dryden and Fort Frances continues to heat up in Girls High School hockey.
The Eagles and Muskies met in the final of the K-Town Classic in Kenora on the weekend.
Dryden fell 2-1 in the gold medal game in a 7-player shootout.
Lyndsey Oliphant scored in regulation, while Rachel Getson scored in the shootout.
Jackie Grandmont was solid in between the pipes for Dryden.
In the Bronze medal game, the Red Lake Rams defeated Westwood 2-1.
