Eagles Ready For Homecoming Football Game

There will be an electric atmosphere at Dryden High School Friday as its ‘Homecoming’ Day.

The main event is the Eagles and Crocus Plains Plainsmen Football game at 2:00pm.

Coach Geoff Zilkalns says this is truly a special day, stressing the entire school is ready and his players are excited to hit to the field and do their best.

This is the first of four straight home games for the 2-0 Eagles.

The Plainsmen enter the contest with a 1-1 record, after opening the season with a 33-0 win, and dropping their second game 9-1.

Zilkalns expects the Brandon team to be fired up and looking for revenge.

He says they are an athletic team, with a unique offence, and not a lot of holes.

A reminder there will be a barbeque at the game, with a chance to win a Minnesota Vikings helmet.

Donations will also be accepted for the family of former Eagles star Sterling Warren.
