The Dryden Eagles scored 23 seconds into the game and didn’t look back In a 5-2 win over the Red Lake Rams Sunday in Cochenour.
Randy Russell led the way with a hat-trick, while Colin Lapointe added his first two high school goals.
Red Lake’s Jordan Baranesky potted a couple of third period goals with Dryden leading 5-2 win.
The Eagles outshot the Rams 35-19, with Jessie Pettinger recording her first win at the Boys level.
Dryden returns home wtih three out of a possible four points based on a single point rewarded for an overtime loss.
