The Dryden Eagle Football team is close to securing a playoff spot in the Winnipeg High School Football league.
A loss by St. John’s and a last minute defeat by Maples last night put Dryden in the driver’s seat.
Although 4 teams are still in the hunt for the final 3 positions, yesterday’s results helped the Eagles who have been one of the most consistent teams all year.
Dryden faces Tec Voc next week.
A win guarantees them a post-season position.
