Eagles Shine at OFSAA

The 2007 Volleyball season has come to an end for the Dryden Eagles.

The ‘Blue and Gold’ battled the second ranked General Amherst Bulldogs in a back and forth Quarter-Final Game Wednesday afternoon.

The defending champion Bulldogs took the first set 25-14, but the Eagles bounced back taking the second set 25-18.

In the third set, Dryden dropped a 15-9 decision to General Amherst.

The Eagles will leave the OFSAA Championship knowing their top 8 in all of Ontario and in typical Dryden fashion, they picked up a number of fans along the way.

Dryden will spend the day in Kingston and will spend Thursday in Ottawa.

The team will leave the Nation’s capital at 6:00 Thursday night to Thunder Bay, and should be home sometime around the midnight hour.
