The Dryden Eagles peppered 70-shots on the St. Thomas Aquinas net in a 7-1 win over the Saints Sunday in Girls High School hockey.
The Eagles fell behind early on the road by allowing a shorthanded goal.
Coach Tim Getson says Saints goalie Gilly Derouard frustrated them with a 27-save performance in the opening frame.
Getson notes things turned around in the second and third period as his girls continued to work hard.
He adds it was a balanced attack as all of his lines were clicking.
Leah Balla had a pair of goals, while Rachel Getson, Shelby Tourond, Liv Carter, Jess Carter and Martina Wintle added singles
CJ Jolicoeur picked up the victory.
