A tough start to the new year for the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team.
The Eagles offence fell flat and couldn’t capitalize on powerplay opportunities in a 3-0 loss to the league leading Fort Frances Muskies Monday night.
With the Muskies win, it moves Dryden to third place in the NorWOSSA standings and a likely matchup with the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints in the first round of the playoffs.
