Eagles Snap Muskies Winning Streak

Last night on the ice….The Dryden Eagles boys hockey team became the first squad to defeat the Fort Frances Muskies this season in NORWOSSA action. The Muskies unblemished regular season record fell last night after the Eagles opened with 2 unanswered goals in the first. The Eagles led 4-2 after 2 periods of play and eventually put away the game in the third with an empty net goal by Cam Zappetelli to make the final: Eagles 6, Muskies 4. Other goals scored by the Eagles, Keith Wrolstad with 2 and Matt Pitchenese also throwing in a pair, and Matt Keller with one.
