Eagles Split; Broncos Fall To Saints

Mixed results for the Dryden Eagles on the ice against Beaver Brae Tuesday.

The Girls got production from all of their lines, especially their top line, in a 14-0 victory in Keewatin.

The trio of Saige MacLeod, Maddie MacDonald and Cali Lappage each had two goals as did Lauryn Loyer.

Hailee and Meagan Lundmark added singles, while Julia Jones, Michaela Morrison, Taliah Williams and Lindy Leclerc also found the back of the net.

Brynn Montgomery stopped 15 shots for the shutout, while Dryden peppered the Broncos net with 48-shots.

The Eagles Girls improves to 3-0 with the win.

In Dryden, the Boys couldn’t find the same offensive touch in a 3-1 loss to Beaver Brae.

In Red Lake, the Rams fell to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints 5-2.

The rematch between those two teams is Wednesday at 12:30.
