Eagles Split on Home Court

The Dryden Eagle Senior Girls Volleyball team appears to be the team to
beat for another year.
The Eagles crushed the Fort Frances Muskies in straight sets Thursday
and Courtney Felske says they were on their game.
The Junior Girls needed 5 sets to dispose of the Muskies and Natalie
Saar says their team started to find the groove late in the game.
On the Basketball court, the Senior Boys dropped a 51-31 decision to
Fort Frances and Coach Mike Sveinson says he saw a lot of positives.
Dryden’s Cole Pollard led all scorers with 13 points.
The Dryden Junior Boys fell to the Muskies 48-28 and Coach Mike Lalond
says he’s happy with the heart shown by his young team but notes there is room for improvement.
Jacob Gardam powered the Eagles with 10-points.
