Eagles Split on Home Ice

Mixed results for the Dryden Eagles home opener Tuesday night.
The Eagle Boys Hockey team dominated play from start to finish,
coasting to an 8-2 win over the Beaver Brae Broncos.
Brendan Church led the way with a pair of goals and says his club stuck to the offense game plan and found guy’s in the slot.
Aaron Lane, Josh Semeniuk, Matthew Bartlett, Kevin Trott, Blair Feller
and Ryan Lobreau also found the back of the net, while Zach Lake picked up
the victory for Dryden.
The Eagle Girls weren’t as successful, losing 5-1 to the Broncos.
Coach Brad Bartlett says nothing went right and he hopes the loss is a wake-up call.
Alex Wesley had Dryden’s lone goal.
