It was a dominating performance from start to finish for the Dryden
Eagle Girls Hockey team in Fort Frances Tuesday.
Sarah Montgomery scored a pair of goals to lead Dryden past the
Muskies 5-1.
Coach Clinton Bruetsch says their forecheck was relentless.
Ahnicka Bruetsch, Nicki Kruger and Danielle Nelson added singles,
while Melissa Calder picked up the win.
On the Boys side, the Dryden Eagles stayed with Fort Frances for
2-periods before dropping a 5-3 decision.
Co-Coach Darryl Mousseau says they didn’t apply enough pressure on
the Muskies.
Ryan Helbling found the back of the net twice while Adam Bryck also scored.
Ian Selman made 32 saves for Dryden.
