Eagles Strike Late To Down Muskies In Girls Hockey

Two goals 39-seconds apart with under five minutes to play was the difference as the Dryden Eagles skated away with a 4-1 win over the Fort Frances Muskies Sunday in Girls High School Hockey.

With the game tied at one, Saige MacLeod broke loose and scored the winning goal on Grade 9 goalie Jersey Masson.

Michaela Morrison added an insurance goal a short time later.

Hailee Lundmark scored in the second period, while Cali Lappage iced the game with an empty net goal.

Hannah Zilkalns stopped 31-shots as the Eagles improved to 2-0
