Down 7-3 in the third and down to only 10 skaters, things looked bleak for the Dryden Eagles Boys High School Hockey team.
However, someone forgot to tell them they were out of the game.
The Eagles scored four unanswered goals, including three in a span of two and a half minutes, and Joel Zieroth scored the lone goal in the shootout in the Eagles dramatic 8-7 win over the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints Monday in Kenora.
Zieroth also scored twice in regulation as did Keith Wrolstad and Zack Lugli.
Braeden Carangi also found the back of the net.
Dryden outshot the Saints 47-33.
