Eagles Tie; Warriors Drop Close One To Start OFSAA

The Dryden Eagles Girls did what they had to do to start the All-Ontario High School Soccer Championships in North Bay.

The Eagles earned a point in a 1-1 tie over ESC Theriault out of Timmins Thursday morning.

Tory Kelly scored Dryden’s goal.

The Eagles are back on the pitch at 1 o’clock against Monsignor Percy Johnson (Toronto).

Meantime, the Queen Elizabeth Warriors battled hard against the top ranked team at the Boys ‘A’ tournament in Windsor.

The Warriors fell to St. Paul Secondary 2-1.

Sioux Lookout returns to the field at noon.
