Eagles Win a Pair of Thrillers

A 2 goal, third period deficit didn’t bother the Dryden Eagle Girls
Hockey team as the Eagles scored a come-from behind victory against Fort
Frances Wednesday night.
Jessica Hymers scored with just over 2 minutes left in
extra time to lead Dryden past Fort Frances 3-2 on home ice.
Hymers says she was ready to play the role of hero for the Eagles.
Stephanie Robinson and Nicki Krueger added singles for
Dryden.
The Boys also scored a win over Fort Frances Wednesday night.
Jared Krantz scored the winner as the Eagles edged the Muskies 2-1.
Andrew Skeene recorded Dryden’s first goal and the Eagles Captain says
his club was able to limit the Muskie chances late in the game.
Jonathan Furkalo picked up the win for Dryden.
