Eagles Win First Game of Football Season

Finally, the thrill of victory for the Dryden Eagle High School Football team.
The Eagles scored on their first two drives of the game and hung on to beat the Steinbach Sabres 20-15 in the Homecoming Game at Harry McMaster Field.
Ryan Martel got things going on the opening play from scrimmage with a 50-yard touchdown run.
Josh Reid followed with a 55-yard touchdown run.
Martel would again score from 3-yards out.
The Eagles defense stopped the Sabres from scoring on a goal-line stand late in the game.
