Ear Falls Forest Crisis Meeting

The second Regional Townhall meeting to discuss the crisis in the
forest industry is being held Monday.
The public forum will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion in Ear
Falls starting at 7 o’clock.
Mayor Jim Desmarais, Weyerhaeuser boss Norm Bush and reps from the
Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union will be on hand to update
the public on the crisis and what can be done.
Premier McGuinty has promised to unveil his plan to help the sector
sometime this month.
