Domtar will soon start shutting down operations at its Ear Falls Sawmill.
The Company announced this Summer that operations at the Mill would be suspended for an indefinite period of time.
Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says the Sawmill will be shut-down in different phases, with the first phase starting late this month or early next month.
She says the entire facility will be “winterized” by the end of the year.
Skene says Domtar is working the best it can with the 130-effected employees to support them through the transition.
