One person has come forward for the Mayor’s position in Sioux Lookout.
The municipal elections aren’t until October 22nd, but Jason Bailey is getting an early jump.
Bailey says he decided to run because of sporadic and high level of tax increases in the community.
He also says he has no plans to get involved in provincial or federal politics, he just wants to serve his community.
Bailey also outlines his work as a member and spokesperson for the Zero Percent Tax Increase Coalition.
Incumbent Yolaine Kirlew has filed for Councillor-at-Large, as has Ronald Bird.
Donald Fenelon will seek re-election in Hudson.
