Early End To Summer For Sarah Campbell

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell is going back to work early.
The legislature is being recalled for a bill that would impose a new two-year contract on Ontario teachers.
Government house leader John Milloy says the legislature will return on August 27th in an attempt to debate Liberal legislation that would make sure teachers are back in the classroom for the new school year.
The Liberals had threatened to bring in the bill if new contracts weren’t signed by the end of the month.
John Milloy says the province can’t afford to let old contracts roll over.
The Liberals still need one of the opposition parties to help pass the legislation, but none have signalled their support so far.
