The full Early Literacy program has had a year under its belt in the Keewatin-Patricia School District.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Parkin says the initiative is showing positive results and now that Grade 3 students are monitored they will take a close look at Early Literacy with a full scale review.
Parkin adds test results continue to show a steady improvement.
The program helps students get a good start on the basics of reading and writing as they begin academic life.
