The official start to the forest fire season isn’t until April 1 but crews are already getting a taste of some action.
There have been four fires since March 17, including two in the Dryden district.
One sparked yesterday just east of Vermilion Bay.
The only active blaze reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is on an island on Lake of the Woods.
