The Consulting group Earth Tech believes $33.7 million is
needed to upgrade Dryden’s Water and Sewer infrastructure.
City Staff are going over the study that also calls for a $3.4 million
investment for a new water reservoir for the Fire Department.
While some on Council were surprised to hear that figure, it’s something
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says can’t be ignored.
Johns believes the $480 thousand study will help the City draft
a long term infrastructure plan while eliminating future surprises.
Among the recommendations, $20 million in improvements to the
Sewage Treatment Plant and $3 million to the Cities Water Treatment Plant.
